- CHECK POWER SUPPLY ( 230 V )
- CHECK FUSE
2 THE DOOR DOES NOT MOVE WITH P1 AND P2 BUTTON
- CHECK SETTING MOTOR WITH PROGRAMMER (SETTING PARAMETERS – MOTOR TYPE ……KW)
- RELEASE STOP BUTTON (LED 6 turned on)
- CHECK MOTOR CONNECTION (triangle 230V three-phase, star 380 three-phase)
3 YOU CAN NOT COMPLETE THE SETTING OF THE CARD (with encoder)
- CHECK WITH PROGRAMMER PARAMETER OPTION IN USE 4300 FOR SINGLE PHOTOCELL 4380 FOR DOUBLE PHOTOCELL
- RELEASE THE STOP BUTTON (LED 6 turned ON)
- MOVE THE DOOR WITH BUTTON P1 AND P2 OF 40/ 50 CM AND LOCATE IT ON CLOSE POSITION ( this operation is useful to recognize the encoder )
- VERIFY THAT THE LED LD13 (radio safety edge or sensor in the upper case) IS ON
- IF NOT, MAKE JUMPERS 7 /13 AND CONTROL THEN THE SECURITY COMPONENTS
- INVERT THE ENCODER CABLE (yellow with green )
- FOR DOORS WITH UPPER PHOTOCELL CONTROL THAT LD 3 IS OFF WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSE
4 YOU CAN NOT COMPLETE THE SETTING OF THE CARD (with limit switch )
- CONTROL THAT THE LIMIT SWITCH ARE CORRECTLY REGUALATED ( if FCC and FCRC aren’t pressed the card can’t be set)
- VERIFY THAT THE LED LD13 (radio safety edge or sensor in the upper case) IS ON
- VERIFY THAT THE LED LD7 (safety photocell ) IS ON
- RELEASE STOP BUTTON (LED 6 turned on)
5 YOU CAN NOT COMPLETE THE SETTING OF THE RESISTIVE EDGE
- VERIFY THAT THE JUMPER ON THE TRANSMITTER J1 IS TAKEN OFF
- RESET THE OLD CODES (close the jumper “MR” press the PROG button until you hear a beeps tight series, then remove the jumper)
- VERIFY WITH THE TESTER THE CHARGE OF THE TRANSMITTER BATTERIES
- VERIFY IF THE RESISTENCE(8.2 KΩ) FOR THE CABLES THAT COME OUT FROM THE EDGE CHANGES IF YOU PRESS THE EDGE if it doesn’t change control that the resistive band is perfectly flat for all the length of the black profile or take out the gum and control the
- VERIFY THE CONNECTIONS OF THE RECEIVER
6 THE PHOTOCELL DOESN’T WORK ( LD 7 OFF) (the door doesn’t close )
- VERIFY THE ALIGNMENT
- VERIFY THE CONNECTION OF THE BLACK RECEIVER CABLE( brown +12Vdc) (blue 0V dc ) ( black: signal that it arrives to the terminal 14 in the local plant)
- VERIFY THE CONNECTION OF THE TRANSMITTER GREY CABLE ( brown +12Vdc) (blue 0V dc) ( ATTENTION! If you invert the brown and blue cables you will damage the sensors)
7 THE ANTI-JAMMING SENSOR DOESN’T WORK (sensor) (the sensor doesn’t light up)
- VERIFY THE CONNECTION ( brown +12Vdc) (blue + white 0V dc ) ( black: signal that it arrives to the terminal 7 in the local plant)
8 THE ANTI-JAMMING SENSOR DOESN’T WORK (sensor) (the door closes but the sensor doesn’t work if I press it)
- BRING THE SENSOR CLOSER TO THE CURTAIN
- PUT THE SENSOR FRONTALLY TO THE TUBE AXIS
- CONTROL THE CONNECTIONS ( brown +12Vdc) (blue 0V dc ) ( black connected to the cable 7 in the local plant)
9 THE DOOR STOPS AT THE PHOTOCELL LEVEL AND COMES BACK
- REGULATE THE SLOWING DOWN LIMIT SWITCH: IT CLOSES 10 CM BEFORE THE PHOTOCELL ( the contact switch off the functioning)
10 THE DOOR CLOSES ONLY 50 CM AND THEN COMES BACK
- INCREASE THE INTERVENTION TIME OF THE ANTI-JAMMING PHOTOCELL USING THE PROGRAMMER (PARAMETER SETTING- ANTI-JAMMING PHOTOCELL READING)
- LOWER THE ANTI-JAMMING PHOTOCELL SENSOR
11 LD1 REMAINS ON( IN THE TOP LEFT-HAND )
- VERIFIY THE FUSE
- THE CARD IS DAMNAGED ( replace it)
12 THE DOOR DOESN’T CLOSE AUTOMATICALLY
- VERIFY DIP 1 ( ON = automatic ) (OFF = manual )
- CONTROL THE CORRECT FUNCTIONING OF THE SAFETY COMPONENTS ( LD 7 – LD 13- LD 6 on)
13 THE DOOR WORKS BUT SOMETIMES IT GETS STUCK (in any position)
- VERIFY THE CORRECT SETTING OF THE MOTOR WITH THE PROGRAMMER (PARAMETER SETTING – TYPE OF MOTOR ……KW)
- CONTROL THAT THE FLASHING LIGHTS WIRES OR THE MOTOR BRAKE WIRES ARE NOT IN THE SAME CABLE OF THE PHOTOCELL AND LIMIT SWITCH (interference problem) they must have their own cable and tube ,the 230V must be separated from 12- 24V
- VERIFY WITH THE TESTER THAT THE CURRENT ISN’T LOWER THAN 220V (control when the door’s working) if the current is lower than 220V control the input
- VERIFY WITH THE PROGRAMMER THAT THE BUS VOLTAGE ISN’T LOWER THAN 300V (SYSTEM CONDITION – BUS VOLTAGE) (control when the door’s working) if the voltage is lower than 300V control the input.
- VERIFY WITH THE PRORAMMER THE MOTOR UPTAKE (SYSTEM CONDITION- MOTOR CURRENT with motor 0,75kw can’t be higher than 7A;with motor 1,5 kw can’t be higher than 9A, control when the door’s working) if the door exceeds the threshold lower the opening HZ
14 THE PHOTOCELL DOESN’T WORK (the door closes but the photocell doesn’t reverse the curtain)
- CONTROL THAT IN THE VICINITY THERE AREN’T ANY OTHER PHOTOCELLS THAT COULD CAUSE REFLECTION (try to darken the photocells)
- CONTROL THAT WITH THE PHOTOCELL CABLES THERE AREN’T ANY HIGH VOLTAGE CABLES (motor ,motor brake, flashing lights, power line) (take to the control board separated cables in different pipes, separate the low voltage 12-24V from the high voltage ≥ 100V)
- PUT THE MINUS OF THE RECEIVER (black cable, blue wire) ground
15 WITH OPEN DOOR (locked) THE CURTAIN SLOW DOWN
SET THE MOTOR BRAKE (remove the fan cover and close of a quarter turn of the dial brake adjustement, then make tests to reach the optimum)
1 THE DOOR DO NOT OPENS AND CLOSES or THE LED ON THE CARD ARE OFF
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY ( 400 V THREE PHASE )
- CHECK FUSE
- CHECK THAT MOTOR PROTECTOR IN THE CONTROL BOARD IS ON
2 THE DOOR OPENS BUT NOT CLOSES
- SET DIP 5 (if DIP 5 is not set the safety accessories do not work )
- CHECK THAT THE LED OF OPENING LIMIT SWITCH (LED 7) IS OFF AND THAT THE LED OF CLOSING LIMIT SWITCH (LED 8) IS ON (check limit switch regulation)
- READ POINT 1
- CHECK THAT OPEN SYSTEMS (buttons, remote controls, radar,ecc…) DO NOT WORK
- CHECK THAT LEDS OF PHOTOCELLS (LED 2) , STOP (LED 3), RESISTIVE EDGE (LED 4) ARE ON
3 THE DOOR IS CLOSED DO NOT OPEN
- SET DIP 5 (if DIP 5 is not set the safety accessories do not work )
- CHECK THAT LEDS OF PHOTOCELLS (LED 2) , STOP (LED 3), RESISTIVE EDGE (LED 4) ARE ON
- CHECK THAT THE LED OF OPENING LIMIT SWITCH (LED 7) IS OFF AND THAT THE LED OF CLOSING LIMIT SWITCH (LED 8) IS ON (check limit switch regulation)

- CHECK THAT OPEN SYSTEMS (buttons, remote controls, radar,ecc…) WORK CORRECTLY
4 YOU CAN NOT PROGRAM THE RESISTIVE EDGE or THE RESISTIVE EDGE DOES NOT WORK (LED 4 off)
- SET DIP 5 (if DIP 5 is not set the safety accessories do not work )
- RESET THE OLD CODE (close the jumper “MR” press the PROG button until you hear a beeps tight series, then remove the jumper)
- CHECK WITH TESTER THE CHARGE OF THE TRANSMITTER BATTERIES
- CHECK THAT THE RESISTIVITY (8.2 KΩ) ON THE RESISTVE EDGE CABLES CHANGE WHEN IT IS PRESSED if it does not change control that the resistive edge is perfectly flat for all its length or take out the rubber and control its integrity
- CHECK THE RECEIVER CONNECTION
- CHECK THAT J1 ON THE TRANSMITTER IS NOT JUMP
5 SAFETY PHOTOCELL DOES NOT WORK ( LED 2 OFF ) (the door does not close ) (the door closes but the photocell does not work)
- SET DIP 5 (if DIP 5 is not set the safety accessories do not work )
- CHECK RECEIVER PHOTOCELL CONNECTION (terminal 1-2 24Vac; terminal 3-4 N.C.)
- CHECK TRANSMITTER PHOTOCELL CONNECTION (terminal 1-3 24Vac)
- CHECK PHOTOCELLS ALIGNMENT
- CHECK THAT NEAR THE DOOR TERE ARE NOT OTHER PHOTOCELLS THAT CAN CAUSE REFLECTION PROBLEM (you can try to turn off other photocells)
- CHECK THAT NEAR PHOTOCELLS CABLES THERE ARE NOT HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE (motor power line, brake, flashing light have to pass in a tube line, while 24V accessories have to pass in other tube line.)
- TO GROUND THE RECEIVER NEGATIVE CABLE ( blue cable 0Vdc)
6 WITH OPEN CONTACTOR THE CURTAIN FALLS or WITH CLOSE CONTACTOR THE CURTAIN GO UP
- REVERSED MOTOR PHASES (reversed U with W)
- CHECK HOW TO ROLL THE STRAPS (only for pack)
7 THE DOOR ARRIVE ON PHOTOCELL AND GO BACK
- EXCLUSION PHOTOCELLS IS NOT ACTIVE (exclude photocells planning DIP 5)
8 THE DOOR GO BACK BEFORE TOUCHING THE FLOOR
- CHECK THE PHOTOCELLS, LED 2 HAVE TO BE ON (it is off only if the fotocells are not aligned)
- CHECK THE RESISTIVE EDGE, LED 4 HAVE TO BE ON (it is off only if the resistive edge is pressed)
- CHECK THAT RADARS (IF INSTALLED) DO NOT REVERSE THE DOOR

9 THE DOOR DO NOT CLOSE AUTOMATICALLY
- CHECK DIP 1 ( ON = automatic )
- TERMINAL 32 e 33 NOT JUMPED ( if they are jumped the door do not close automatycally)
10 THE MOTOR HAS DIFFICULT TO LIFT THE CURTAIN
- CHECK THAT THE BRAKE IS CONNECTED IN THE TERMINAL 7 and 8 IN THE CONTROL CARD (standard) OR TERMINAL 7 and 9 ( with counterweight)
- CHECK WITH TESTER THE RESISTIVITY IN OHM IN THE BRAKE CABLE
- CHECK WITH TESTER THE POWER IN THE BRAKE TERMINAL
- CHECK IN THE MOTOR THERE IS 400V THREE PHASE
11 THE MOTOR HAS DIFFICULT TO LIFT THE CURTAIN ( when you are setting limit switch)
- TO SET LIMIT SWITCH YOU HAVE TO USE RED BUTTONS P1 and P2 IN THE CARD (they replace the contactor, using the contactor the motor brake does not work)

12 WHEN THE DOOR IS OPEN (locked) CURTAIN SLOWLY FALLS
- SET MOTOR BRAKE (remove the fan cover and close of a quarter turn of the dial brake adjustement, then make tests to reach the optimum)
13 BLOWN FUSE IN THE TOP OF CONTROL CARD
- LOW VOLTAGE FUSE 500mA ( check all accessories cables: photocells, receiver, radar, ecc.) (check that the accessoties cables do not touch the structure = short circuit)
14 BLOWN FUSE "F1" IN THE BOTTOM LEFT OF THE CARD
- 2.5A FUSE PROTECTS 230V (short circuit on 230V: flashing light, contactors coil)
15 BLOWN FUSE "F2" IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF THE CARD
- 1.6A FUSE PROTECTS MOTOR BRAKE (short circuit on motor brake, check with tester the ohm in the brake)
